Starting a blog on Blogger is easy but maintaining it is not an easy job specially if you are not a programmer. Every new blogger wants that more and more traffic come to his/her blog so that the pageviews increases. They write posts, publish them and wait for the traffic to come. To decrease the bounce rate, they want to engage the readers on their blogs. For that purpose, adding a related posts widget at the end of each blog post is a good idea to engage the reader more on the blog.

Adding related posts widget can significantly decrease the bounce rate and hence increase in the pageviews and AdSense income. Today I will show how you can add a related posts widget to your blogger blog. It is a fast loading widget and can be added very easily. It took less than five minutes to add in the blogger. Follow these steps to learn how can you add this?

  • If your blogger posts section width is less than 500px then keep the width to three stories.
  • Hit the Get Widget button and on the next page, click on Install Widget.

  • Change the Title to anything you may like.

  • Click on Edit Content and add the following code just above the widget code. Change the Related Posts to anything you like.

  • Now click on Edit Template.

  • Replace the entire code with the one given below so that the widget will not appear on homepage.
