How to Justify Blogger Posts
You guys must have seen some blogs (including us) using justified alignment for their posts. In this alignment, both left and right edges of post are straight. Justified alignment is common in MS Word and other word processing programs but very small number of blogs and sites justify their posts. It stretches the text so that each line has equal width like in newspapers and magazines.
By default, the alignment of blog posts is set to left so that the left margin is straight while the right one is ragged. Alignment of text in blogger post is very simple & easy and you can do this by adding only one line in the HTML code of blog, Today I will tell you how can you do this. So let's start:
- Log In to your blogger account.
- Go to Blogger Dashboard.
- Select Template.
- Now click on Edit HTML. (Note: Backup your blogger template so that you can revert if something goes wrong. If you don't know how to backup, read this.)
- By pressing CTRL+F, search for .post-body
- Now add this line text-align:justify; just before the closing i.e., } so that the whole line looks like:
.post-body{padding-top:0px;padding-bottom:0px;margin:0px;font-family:Arial,Helvetica,Sans-serif;font-size:13px;line-height: 20px;text-align: justify;}
- Now save the template and open the blog homepage to see the change you made.
Text justification provides business bloggers with the option to accommodate word density across text columns more effectively. Thanks for great read.
