Apple Iphone comes with a standard white color earphones having three different buttons. Two of them are for volume control and the one is in the middle for various functions. Apart from controlling the volume, you can use these buttons for various functions. So lets read this post to know these functions:

Answer and End Calls

Tap the center button once to answer and end a call.

Ignore Incoming Calls

When you have an incoming call, press and hold the center button for a few seconds, then release it. Two beeps will be heard that indicate the call has been disconnected.

Activate Siri

If you have an Iphone 4S or later, simply tap and hold the center button for some seconds to activate siri.

Switch Between Calls

If, during a call, you have another incoming call then tap the center button once to switch the calls. Just tapping the center button for 2 seconds will end the new call.

Play or Pause a Song/Video

To play or pause a video/song, just press the center button.

Take a Picture

To take a selfie, open up the camera and press the volume up (+) button. And don't forget to smile :-)

Fast Forward or Rewind Through a Song

 

Press the center button twice and hold down on the second tap to fast forward. Press it three times and hold down on the third tap to rewind.

Skip to the Next Song

Press the center button twice to skip to the next song.

Go Back to the Previous Song

 

Press the center button three times to go back to the previous song.

Ignore a Call

To ignore a call, simply press the center button for a few seconds and then release it.
