HTC Finally Gets The Profit

HTC finally turns a profit
HTC, the first company to introduce Touchscreen phones and Android OS enabled smartphones, is nowadays struggling against its competitors Samsung and Apple. Although they have indroduced some very best phones in the market but still as compared to the rivalries, their profit margin is low.

In the last 3-4 years, they are constantly getting low profits. It is not because of their phone's quality but was their business strategies due to which they are struggling.

But finally, HTC is back, atleast for now.

On June 26, 2014, they posted a net profit of 2.26 billion New Taiwan dollars (or a little less than $76 million) for the June quarter. That beat analyst estimates for a profit of 2.17 billion New Taiwan dollars.

In the previous three quarters, HTC reported a net loss despite the positive reviews they got on their flagship - HTC One. The company was criticized for its convoluted marketing efforts and struggled to compete against Apple and Samsung in the smartphone space.

The company had recently launched its high end smartphones, HTC M8 and HTC One E8.

It was also a good step by the company to bring in the Paul Golden, Samsung's former Chief Marketing Officer in the U.S. for improving their marketing techniques.

According to some reports, HTC was lacking in the sector of their co-ordination with the customers. That was the loophole on which Mr. Golden guide the company and let them know how to fill this gap!!!
