Lindsay Lohan Sues GTA V Maker Rockstar Games For Alleged Character Likeliness
Lindsay Lohan (The Hollywood Actress) is suing the maker of Grand Theft Auto Game "Rockstar Games" for allegedly using her likeness in the action-adventure title, which was launched last fall for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
According to Yahoo Finance, The actress says the latest installment used her image and created a character Lacy Jones based on her without her permission.
The suit was filed Wednesday in New York city, where the Rockstar is based. According to Lindsay Lohan, she feels that the voice, clothing, image and style are extremely similar to her own style.
Grand Theft Auto 5, which was released in the last quarter of 2013 for PS3 and XBox 360, has sold over 1.5 billion copies. GTA 5 has received highly favourable reviews. The game has scored 8/10 on Gamespot.com and became the largest digital release on Sony Playstation 3.
