HTC Announces the Windows 8.1 Version of HTC One (M8)
Since the Microsoft took over Nokia, they are seeking for more partners to make their Windows phones popular among the consumers.
To start with HTC, I think nothing could be better than that. The Taiwanese company HTC released the windowed version of its power-packed flagship HTC One (M8). The original flagship operates on Android OS and its windows version on Windows 8.1.
Look at the image above, you will see some slight differences. Obvious change is homescreen menus and look, default onscreen buttons are replaced with windows phone counterparts. Other than that, there are no hardware changes.
It is currently unclear why HTC chose to release the variant. IDC research director of European mobile devices Francisco Jeronimo told V3 Microsoft is likely subsidising the launch.
Lets take a look at its specifications.

This is probably Microsoft putting up money to keep HTC interested in launching new devices. HTC does not have the cash to invest and promote a device that runs a platform with less than 10 percent market share and is completely dominated by Nokia," he said.On the other hand the device will be cheaper than the Android version. HTC could only do this with financial support from Microsoft.
Lets take a look at its specifications.
