Microsoft announced the Microsoft Lumia 535 Monday night, dropping the Nokia brand on its smartphone for the first time.

Having the same shape and look as of Nokia, Microsoft Lumia 535 is packed with the same OS and bunch of apps like OneDrive, Skype, Office365, Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo etc.

Running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS (Lumia Denim update), Microsoft Lumia 535 is powered with 1.2GHz of Snapdragon 200 quad core processor with 1GB of RAM. It has 8 gigs of internal storage with an option of expandable 128GB storage via MicroSD card.

Microsft Lumia 535 has 5 inches of qHD display. The phone measures 140.2 x 72.45 x 8.8 mm and weighs 146 grams.
 
Looking at its 1902 mAH battery, we can expect a better talk and stand-by time. Microsoft itself claimed an 11 hours talk-time on GSM.

There is 5MP HD camera on the back has LED flash and can do HD video recording. Microsoft has also enabled the same 5MP shooter at the front for selfie addicts.

This phone will come into its two variants i.e., single and dual sim and will be available in six different colors.

According to Microsoft, the phone will be first launched in Hong Kong, China and Bangladesh with other countries to follow and is priced at $140.
